(1) Note. The handle may be (a) grasped by the hand of an occupant to assist him/her in entering, leaving, or remaining on the device or (b) grasped by a standee (as in a common carrier) to assist him/her in maintaining his/her balance and

stand adjacent the device or (c) grasped by a person to move the seat from one position or location to another.

(2) Note. Sedan chairs are classified in this subclass or indented subclasses.
