Spring or pivotally mounted:

(under subclass 143) Device in which the bumper guard has spring means in the guard or in its attachment to the main impact means or in which the bumper guard may have means whereby it may pivot relative to its support.

(1) Note. The guards in this subclass may be pivoted so that objects may be removed therefrom, to permit access to other parts of the vehicle, etc.
