(under subclass 895.3) Process wherein the work contacting surface element is formed by covering the surface of an interior support element with a relatively thin layer of material applied, for example, projecting a liquid material against said surface or by molding a fluent material against said surface which material hardness to form said layer.

(1) Note. In some instance, the formed work contacting surface element is formed on a mandrel from which it may be removed and mounted on another interior support element for use.
