(under subclass 17.4) Process including applying material to a work portion or performing a particular operation on the work portion to stop welding or adhesion between layers or components of the pack.

(1) Note. The bond preventing material is generally characterized as "anti-bond" or "prevent-weld".

(2) Note. The bond prevention material may comprise material

that is normally used as a lubricant applied directly to the work, rather than merely to the working apparatus or machine.
