(under subclass 446.1) Devices in which a reversal of the direction of stress; i.e., tension to compression or vice versa, in the means connecting the vehicles causes a change in the articulation or the manner in which the vehicles are articulated.
(1) Note. The connection between the vehicles may be a rigid connection for one of the conditions of stress.
