Turntable-type fifth wheel coupling:

(under subclass 438.1) Vehicles in which the tractor carried fifth wheel elements are mounted on a platform which rotates about a vertical axis. The articulation between the tractor and trailer during steering takes place about the turntable axis rather than about the kingpin.
