DEFINITION

(under subclass 91) Device wherein at least one of the elements moves to and from the stack of sheets in a direction
generally perpendicular to the plane of the foremost sheet to engage and move the foremost sheet away from the stack, and wherein another of the elements moves in a direction generally parallel to said plane, whereby said one element initiates the movement of a foremost sheet and transfers said foremost sheet to the other of the elements to continue the movement of the foremost sheet away from the stack.
