With means to maintain constant spacing of movable stripper:

(under subclass 312) Apparatus in which the stripper is mounted for movement toward and away from the conveyor surface during normal operation of the conveyor and in which means are provided to maintain a predetermined spacing between the stripper and the conveyor.

(1) Note. This device is to be distinguished from an adjustable separator which is locked in a predetermined position at a nominal spacing from the conveyor.
