(under subclass 226) Device wherein the individual sheets are transported along a particular path, and provided with a sheet positioner for the "front-edge" of a sheet, which positioner is shifted along the same path as the sheet.
(1) Note. This subclass is for a device wherein the same instrumentality performs two functions, that is, the "front-edge" aligner travels with the sheet but at a speed slower than that of the conveyor for the sheet; thus the aligner both retards the sheet speed and aligns the "front-edge" of the sheet.
