DEFINITION

Classification: 271/164

(under subclass 162) Device wherein the movement is along a direction coincident with a lengthwise or widthwise dimension of a sheet of the stack.

(1) Note. The movement referred to permits a platform that

is advancing a stack along a direction to be adjusted perpendicularly to that direction, or permits movement of a stack-holding tray that slides out of the machine for replenishment of the stack therein.
