(under subclass 58.01) Subject matter including means for (a) detecting the presence or absence of the sheets, or (b) detecting an orientation of the individual sheet, or (c) recognizing and interpreting the distinguishing markings or specific codes or such visible or invisible markings on the sheet; and in response thereto actuating a signal or warning device.
