(under subclass 80) Device in which either (1) a plurality of springs are provided, which springs are superposed upon each other so as to be serially effective, or (2) an additional spring contacting support is provided inwardly of the spring's connection to the frame, which support is engageable by the spring during its movement to vary the effective length of the spring.
