Coil spring between lever and vehicle part:

(under subclass 239) Spring device wherein one end of the coil-spring* engages the discrete link or structure rigidly connected thereto, and the other end engages one of the sprung vehicle parts or structure rigidly connected thereto.

(1) Note. A coil-spring* which is connected to the leaf-spring* at or immediately adjacent to the leaf spring's point of attachment to a vehicle part is considered to "engage one of the sprung vehicle parts".
