DEFINITION

Classification: 250/256

(under subclass 253) Subject matter wherein the means to detect radiation emanating naturally from or modified or caused by the material interacting with radiation senses the material in or about a well and includes means to support for movement the means to detect natural radiation or radiation modified or caused by the interaction of the material with exposing radiation and includes methods corresponding to the apparatus.

(1) Note. A well is meant to include a cased and uncased well and bore hole.

(2) Note. Generally the claimed method and apparatus include an indication or a recording of the radiation detected.

(3) Note. Generally the method and apparatus have claimed or disclosed a recording correlating the radiation sensed with the depth at which the radiation has been sensed.
