(under subclass 27) Subject matter having roadway-signals, detents, and other track devices actuated and controlled solely by mechanical means, usually involving direct contact with the moving train or some device attached thereto, and irrespective of the means employed upon the train, if any, for actuating the cab and control mechanism.
