(under the class definition) Subject matter comprising a securing mechanism having an elongated component which passes through an existing hole located in the earlobe of a person to attach an ornament thereto.

(2) Note. A device intended to imaple the flesh of the earlobe is excluded from this subclass and is classified in Class 128.
