Consisting of thermally fusible substance:

(under subclass 682.1) Mounting means consisting of a substance which during the mounting operation is (a) in contact with both the mounting surface and the cavity or projection portion, (b) heated to a temperature melting it from its solid state into its liquid or plastic state, and (c) cooled to a temperature which allows the substance to return to its solid state and weld the cavity or projection portion to the mounting surface.

(1) Note. The fusible substance may be separate from or part of either the mounting surface or the cavity or projection portion.
