DEFINITION

(under the class definition) Device comprising an applicator and means to move said applicator to deliver a series of blows against the work, which series of blows contributes to the formation of a fusion-bonded seam.

(1) Note. Any deformation of the work by such applicator is considered to occur simultaneously with the fusion-bonding thereof, not before fusion.
