(under subclass 215) Process in which the confining means comprises either (1) a body of sufficiently high melting point or heat conductivity to establish, with respect to the fused filler contacting it, a cooled zone, or (2) a body which acts to retain the fused filler within the space between the meeting faces of the work part(s).
