(under subclass 129) Device wherein the force applying means comprises the mass of the driver and any parts secured thereto, which mass tends to continue in motion when the device is swung with a hammer-like blow against supported work, thereby projecting the driver from its initial position with respect to other portions of the device which are brought to a halt against the work.
