(under subclass 6) Devices in which an element of the device contacts the lead-end portion of the work and imparts motion thereto so as to separate the work from contact with the blade.

(1) Note. Usually the work has an adhesive coating and the stripper functions to free the lead-end for the next succeeding feed-out operation.
