DEFINITION

(under subclass 91.2) Subject matter in which the heating current is made to localize at particular points of the workpiece by means other than the electrodes.

(1) Note. The workpieces to be bonded, for example, may be coated with insulating paint on the contacting faces except at those points where bonding is to take place.
