DEFINITION

Classification: 205/220

Treating electrolytic or nonelectrolytic coating after it is formed:

(under subclass 80) Subject matter wherein an electrolytic or a nonelectrolytic coating is treated subsequent to its formation to produce a modification of or change in character of the coating as distinguished from subsequent treatment of the object on which the coating is placed.

(1) Note. If a nonelectrolytic coating is treated, a step of electrolytic coating must precede the step of forming the nonelectrolytic coating or follow the treatment step.
