(under subclass 80) Subject matter wherein a permanent coating is formed by a nonelectrolytic coating process after a predominantly single metal or alloy coating is deposited by an electrolytic coating process.

(1) Note. For this subclass and those indented hereunder a permanent coating is considered to comprise any material deposited on the substrate that remains as part of the finished article.
