DEFINITION

Classification: 204/512

Continuous movement of substrate through bath:

(under subclass 471) Process in which the substrate is continuously transported in, through, and out of the bath; with an electrophoretic or electro-osmotic coating being applied to the substrate while it is moving through the bath.

(1) Note. The substrate does not need to be of indeterminate length, provided that it is kept in motion through the bath while being coated.
