(under subclass 81) Devices of the type in which the fluid pressure (or vacuum) acts upon a body of conductive liquid causing the latter to move so as to open or close a circuit including the conductive liquid.
(1) Note. The fluid pressure or vacuum may be applied either directly to the conductive liquid, or indirectly through a piston or diaphragm, so that the change in pressure
causes liquid motion, as distinguished from fluid pressure operated means that cause change in position of a liquid contact switch, liquid motion being due to such change in position.
