(under subclass 638) Apparatus having (1) means to sense a condition surrounding the thrower and means responsive to said sensing means to cause a change in the operating condition of the conveyor, or (2) means to sense a particular condition which may, or may not, exist relative to the conveyor itself, such as speed, overload, motor temperature, etc., and means responsive to said sensing means to act to change the operating condition of the conveyor.
