(under subclass 436) Apparatus provided with a member that may be positioned to intersect the line of movement of said single succession of articles in such manner as to either a) intersect said line or not intersect said line after passage of successive articles, or b) intersect said line in a particular relationship to said line, or intersect said line in a different relationship to said line after passage of successive articles, whereby to cause at least two successions of articles to be formed from the single succession of articles.
