(under subclass 266) Internal-resistance motion retarder provided with means for regulating movement of said fluid (thereby regulating degree of resistance exerted by the fluid), which means is located at a distance from the device and actuated by a person.
(1) Note. Included in this subclass are shock absorbers (e.g., on axle of a vehicle) that are controlled by a driver who is within the vehicle.
