(under subclass 263) Apparatus in which the laterally movable cutter element is connected to a cam or gear which is mounted to rotate about an axis substantially coincident with the longitudinal axis of the shaft so that relative movement of the cam or gear and the shaft about said axis will cause the cutter element to move laterally relative to the shaft.
