DEFINITION

Classification: 171/26

(under the class definition) Apparatus in which the object recovered or extracted from the ground is a plant and portions of said plant are removed therefrom by means located at a point above the earth's surface before, after or during unearthing of said plant.

(1) Note. Included herein are devices which remove foilage from a useful root portion or which separate the stalks or vine from a goober, tuber, fruit, berry or vegetable.
