DEFINITION

Classification: 171/139

(under the class definition) Apparatus in which the unearthing apparatus includes the frame of a vehicle, said frame having an excavating and/or separating means rigidly connected thereto, and which frame is provided with a means for varying its vertical position relative to the ground whereby the working depth of said excavating and/or separating means may be selectively changed from one position to another.

(1) Note. The frame is generally provided with a crank axle, gage wheel or runner means which is movable relative to the frame in order to position said frame at different heights above the ground.
