DEFINITION
Classification:        169/38  
(under subclass 37) The valve is supported by means of a  strut or compression device arranged between the valve and a  part of the frame, the strut being designed to fall or  collapse upon an increase of its temperature. This includes  struts consisting of a single or simple element which falls  by fusion, combustion, or bursting.
