(under subclass 289) Apparatus in which means are provided for either increasing or decreasing the pressure of the atmosphere immediately contacting the surface of the pulp on the mold.
(1) Note. Excluded from this subclass are devices which draw a vacuum through the mold surface and thus act indirectly on the stock on the mold. For such subject matter see the various subclasses provided for below. In the instant subclass the action is directly on the stock and not through the pervious mold surface.
