DEFINITION

Classification: 157/1.26

(under subclass 1.17) Devices wherein the engaging members are adapted to engage opposite sides of a tire, or of a tire and rim, and are arranged for movement relative to each other.

(1) Note. The essence of this subclass is the substantial opposition of the pushing members. Devices, therefore, in which one of the members engages portions of a wheel other than the felley or tire-holding rim are excluded and will be found in subclass 1.17 supra.
