The leaf spring support for the spring encircling rigid annulus in the spring wheel has its springs supported intermediate their points of securement to the wheel center and said rigid annulus. The second-mentioned support may be by way of attachment of the springs to each other intermediate their length or by way of elements extending radially from the hub or rim and bearing upon the springs either laterally or circumferentially. The supports act directly upon the springs and may be either rigid or spring.
