(under subclass 247) Devices in which one or more flexible spring bands extend about the wheel in spaced relation thereto. The bands may be composed of connected sections. A mere wire is considered to be a band, but where elements do no more than connect the outer ends of springs, they are not regarded as bands; nor is the provision of overlapping sections not connected to each other regarded as a band.
