DEFINITION

(under subclass 415) Nozzles having air inlet means functioning to admit ambient air to the nozzle when the nozzle is in normal working position with respect to the work, the additional air being admitted to the nozzle other than through the work or between the work and the nozzle lips.

(1) Note. The air inlet may serve only as a vacuum relief device but usually the additional air assists in dislodging

dirt from the work surface.
