DEFINITION

Classification: 15/359

(under subclass 354) Apparatus in which the nozzle is biased or urged toward an extreme position with respect to the work surface, or is so mounted as to float, that is, follow the contour of irregular surfaces.

(1) Note. The bias or floating feature must be continuously operative; where there is provided means to hold or retain the nozzle in a fixed position, the patent is classified in other subclasses of this group.
