(under subclass 334) Apparatus in which the insertion or attachment of a separable, additive converter element results in diverting or cutting off the floor nozzle air flow.

(1) Note. In some cases the converter element actuates mechanism which in turn operates a diverter or cut-off, while in other cases the element itself acts as a diverter or cut-off.
