Tie gaining and boring:

(under subclass 3.1) Special work machine including structure particularly adapted to cutting a groove in a workpiece of lumber at substantially right angles to the grain combined with structure particularly adapted to forming or enlarging an opening within the workpiece; wherein the workpiece comprises a rail supporting tie to be used on a railroad.
