DEFINITION

Classification: 144/24.15

Ring jointing:

(under subclass 2.1) Machine intended to connect a first wood member to an overlying second wood member by grooving the first generally annularly, and grooving the second such that an intermediate annular flange will prevent relative lateral motion therebetween.

(1) Note. Commonly a bolt will secure the wood members from movement away from each other.
