DEFINITION

(under subclass 92.3) Apparatus including means for repeated interlacing of helices through a particular aligned loop row without intervening shifts in relative position between fabric and helix projecting means, such repeated interlacing occurring periodically in response to a predetermined sequence.

(1) Note. The plural helices or "cords" are usually to delineate the borders of desired lengths of fabric and also serve as reinforcements for said borders.
