(under subclass 628) Subject matter in which the valves are located in flow passages which are connected in parallel.

(1) Note. The effect of the prior opening of one valve may be to admit fluid pressure to the down stream side of the other valve to more nearly balance the pressure acting on the same and thus reduce the effort required to open the same.
