(under subclass 434) Apparatus in which the valve controlled by the float arm is designed in such a manner that fluid pressure is exerted on opposing surfaces of the valve so that the forces acting on the valve as a result of flow or pressure in the line are neutralized or balanced, and thus a smaller force is necessary to actuate the valve.
