DEFINITION

Classification: 137/266

(under subclass 255) Apparatus having (1) a filling and/or emptying or venting manifold or (2) separate outlet conduits

from plural tanks or compartments arranged to terminate adjacent one another, usually for convenience in discharging the contents of the several compartments.

(1) Note. In this and the indented subclasses, the term "manifold" includes any arrangement in which flow conduits to or from two or more tanks or compartments arranged for parallel flow merge into a common flow passage.
