(under subclass 11.01) Subject matter in which a dressing tool for truing up the grinding wheel has a plurality of cutting edges and is secured to a tool holder for a movement which causes a change from one cutting edge to another.
(1) Note. The dressing tool may include a truing head consisting of a cylinder provided with a series of separate retractable diamond tools each of which is capable of being rigidly locked.
(2) Note. The dressing tool may include a body having a shank, an insert holder and an indexable head diamond insert press fitted into the insert holder. [figure]
