(under the class definition) Apparatus provided with two drums rotating on parallel axes in opposite rotational directions so that their adjacent peripheries are moving in the same direction, the drums being spaced apart so that their adjacent peripheries are separated by a distance substantially equal to or slightly less than a cross-sectional dimension of a missile that will pass between
the drums, whereby as the missile passes between the drums in tangential relation thereto, the missile will be accelerated by contact with the peripheries of the rotating drums.
