Endless belt or screw conveyor hopper attachment:

(under subclass 57.5) Subject matter wherein the apparatus connected to the hopper is a (1) band-like structure movable continuously along a path defined by its longitudinal axis and providing an uninterrupted surface for carrying the nourishment, or (2) helical auger formation which is rotated about its longitudinal axis to move the nourishment.

(1) Note. While the nourishment carrying surface of the endless belt itself is uninterrupted, the inclusion of a sweep member or other mechanism which pushes feed from the belt surface to an underlying trough would be proper for this subclass.
