Means to raise coating material to a predetermined level inside an enclosed container:

(under subclass 688) Apparatus wherein the coating material is admitted to the interior of a receptacle and the advancing surface of the coating material is detected when it reaches a certain selected point.

(1) Note. The art found in this subclass pertains to those devices in which the coating material is supplied to a container (which may be the work) and fills the container to a certain height whereupon a sensor is actuated which prevents further filling of the container.
